A regular tune up is important to your car's performance. The process should involve replacing the air filter, replacing or cleaning the spark plugs, and replacing the distributor cap and rotor. It can also include replacement of the spark plug wires, fuel filter, PCV valve, and oxygen sensor, if applicable.
The brakes are the most important safety system on a vehicle. A complete brake job includes: (1) An inspection of the entire brake system to determine the condition of all its major components (2) A recommend of any repairs needed to ensure safe driving.
The suspension system's parts are built to be fairly durable, but do inevitably wear out or become damaged. Problems with the suspension should be addressed immediately, so if the handling or shock absorption in a vehicle changes it should be inspected as soon as possible.
Your cooling system is what keeps your car from having a meltdown. It works hard to keep your engine operating at an optimum temperature. All of the parts that make up the cooling system have one goal of moving coolant around the engine so it can absorb and dissipate heat. The basic components include radiator, radiator hoses, water pump, thermostat, electric cooling fan, and thermo-time switch.
A vehicle's powertrain, also called the powerplant, consists of those parts or components that conduct the vehicle's power from the original source of energy to the surface of the road. In most modern vehicles, the powertrain includes the engine, transmission, drive shaft, differentials and what is known as the final drive. We service and repair all of those components.
